Scooter Parts Depot has been in
business since May 2003. Our company is dedicated to providing you
with the best shopping experience possible. We strive to offer an
ever-expanding parts inventory by working directly with our overseas
supplier to give buyers the latest products at the lowest prices.
We are constantly updating our website with new products so check
back with us frequently.
Our distribution center is located
in Alameda, California. We are not open for walk-in business.

Shipping Information
We ship by United States
Postal Service “Priority” mail for items under 4 pounds and very
light items by First Class Mail. Items weighing more than 4 pounds
will
generally be shipped by UPS® Ground
for all standard orders. Contact us if you prefer another shipping
option. Orders usually ship on the same day or the next
business day it’s placed! Allow 3-4 business days for
priority mail. 4-5 business days for 1st class mail. For
items weighing over 3 lbs we typically use UPS Ground service.
Allow 7-10 business days. The delivery time is an approximation
and is not guaranteed. Shipments to Puerto Rico and the Virgin
Islands typically take longer.
A tracking number will
be provided to you as soon as we ship your order.
The shipping rates
quoted on our web site apply to all 50 states.
You can save on shipping by
combining your order on orders of 4 or more items. Email us your
order along with your shipping address. We will then email you the
total cost. Discounts will not be applied after payment has
been made.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We do not accept International
Orders.
APO / FOB
Military Orders - All orders shipped with the USPS.
SALES TAX
For shipments within CA. we are required to collect 9.75% sales tax.
Out of state shipments are exempt from California sales tax at this
time.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Scooter Parts Depot wants its customers to be satisfied and will
make every attempt to assist with the quick and fair resolution of
any issues that should arise. Limits of Responsibility Ownership of
merchandise transfers to the customer at the time it is accepted by
the shipping company. Any claims for loss or damage are the
responsibility of the shipping company and are subject to their
policies.
MERCHANDISE
All merchandise is guaranteed new and free of defects unless
specified otherwise.
WARRANTY
Scooter Parts Depot offers a 7
Day Warranty on most items. The 7 day begins on the day the item is delivered.
Any electrical components are not warranted or returnable due
to the nature of electronics and the potential of damage during
installation.
No
warranties on Pull starter, Inner Tube, Carburetor, Starter Claw
(Pawl), Throttles, Motors, Control Module.
RECYCLING
Scooter Parts Depot believes recycling paper and boxes helps the
environment. Whenever possible we will reuse boxes and packaging and
avoid using materials that do not decompose easily.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
Returns for refund, credit or exchange are allowed within 7 calendar days
of delivery date on items in new - unused condition. There is a 15% restocking fee for all returns unless
the products arrived damaged or defective.
Pull Starters, Inner Tube, Carburetor,
Starter Claw (Pawl), Throttles, Motors and Control Module not returnable for
refund, credit or exchange.
SHIPPING EXPENSE
All delivery and return charges are the customers responsibility unless
received items are damaged or defective. The original shipping cost is not
refundable. If the item was subject to free shipping, the actual shipping
cost will be deducted from your refund. We will refund you your purchase
price minus the original shipping costs and any applicable restocking fee.
REFUSED SHIPMENT
If a shipment is refused by the customer or is undeliverable and returned to
the shipper, the customer is responsible for payment of both the original
transportation charges, return charges and any additional duties and taxes
that may have been incurred.
Scooter Parts Depot reserves the right to refuse refunds for returned
merchandise that does not meet its return criteria or deduct costs
associated for returned merchandise that is damaged or missing parts. Items
not qualified for refund or merchandise credit will be returned to the
customer with an explanation for the action.
ORDER CANCELLATION
Orders should be cancelled by emailing sales@scooterpartsdepot.com. Please
have your name or transaction number available. A 3% cancellation charge will
be applied to processed orders canceled prior to shipment.
SHIPPING DAMAGE - SHORTAGES
Merchandise should be inspected at the time of delivery and any problems
should be brought to the attention of the delivery person and noted in
writing on the delivery receipt. Customers must notify Scooter Parts Depot
within 10 days of delivery of any shortages, damage or other problems. In
the event of lost or missing merchandise the items in question will be
eligible for replacement only. No refunds will be provided. Ownership of
merchandise, transfers to the purchaser, at the time a package is picked up
by the freight carrier. Any freight damage claims must be filed by the
shipper against the freight carrier.
